HISTORY
In the late 18th century, Peyrat - Fourthon was known as a hunting lodge. Adrien Mothes, Mayor of Saint Laurent du Médoc began grape cultivation in 1834.
Hervé Godin acquired Peyrat-Fourthon in 1998 and decided to renovate the cellar and combine modern winemaking techniques with age-old traditions. It was him who started to produce elegant, sophisticated red wines.
Since June 2004 Peyrat - Fourthon is owned by the Narboni - Family. Under Pierre Narboni, who took over the reins of the Château, the vineyards grew from 12 hectares to 20 hectares, that shall become «one of the best and most advanced vineyards in the Appellation Haut - Médoc».
